Tangy Basil

During the winter when citrus is at its best, its good to use them for salad dressings. This salad dressing was created by my good friend, it is overt fat free and quite tasty!

Serves: 1-2 people Yields: 1 cup of dressing

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes

Appliances Needed:

  • Blender

Ingredients:

  • 3 oranges
  • 3 dates
  • basil to taste

Directions:

  • Peel the oranges and pit the dates and blend them together.
  • Now blend with the basil (I like to see some leaves and not over blend)
  • pour on your salad, serve and enjoy :)
