This goes to show that kids make great chefs too! A little creativity goes a long way and here is a great salad that you should try! Made by a kid for a kid (or an adult who identifies as a kid!)
Ingredients:
- A big bowl of spinach (either prewashed or bunched spinach, as much as you want to eat)
- a generous handful of sprouts (sunflower, pea, etc)
- 1 large carrot julienne sliced or shredded/grated
- 1-3 cups of sliced grapes (Jacinda uses red grapes, but use whatever you like) – As many as you want, really
- 1/2 – 1 avocado
Directions:
- Wash and chop spinach
- Julienne the carrots, slice the grapes(in half works), chop the avocado, gather the sprouts
- Save some of the above ingredients and add the rest, toss the salad and then top it with the remaining carrots, sprouts, grapes and avocado.
